COVID-19 Tenant Relief Act Repayment of Delinquent Rent
Tenant repayment deadline has moved up to August 31, 2022

During the COVID-19 pandemic, local governments adopted laws prohibiting property owners from evicting tenants due to failure to pay rent. Originally, the specified time in which a tenant could delay repayment could not be extended beyond May 31, 2023. The new date for which a tenant cannot delay repayment is now August 31, 2022.
